{"id":583,"date":"2018-05-24T14:57:45","date_gmt":"2018-05-24T12:57:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.whisperingtree.hu\/blog\/?p=583"},"modified":"2018-05-24T14:57:45","modified_gmt":"2018-05-24T12:57:45","slug":"important-change-in-tax-office-authorization","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whisperingtree.hu\/blog\/important-change-in-tax-office-authorization\/","title":{"rendered":"Important change in Tax Office authorization"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Major changes from May 2018<\/h2>\n<p>Hungarian government is desperately shifting from paper-based administration to electronic one.<\/p>\n<p>During this process, the government changed the way the Tax Office accepts authorizations.<\/p>\n<p>Those authorization are needed to submit electronic tax returns. Until May, paper-based and\/or scanned versions of apostilled authorizations were accepted and processed by the Tax Office (NAV).<\/p>\n<p>However, from May, Tax Office refuses to accept any of those solutions. All of the authorization <strong>should be<\/strong> <strong>validated electronically<\/strong> by using the government\u2019s system.<\/p>\n<h2>Methods of electronic validation<\/h2>\n<p>There are 3 methods of electronic validation of a Hungarian document:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Convert the ordinary document to a validated electronic document<\/li>\n<li>Place a qualified electronic signature on the document by the general manager or the legal representative<\/li>\n<li>Validate the document by using the free validation system of the government called AVDH<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To use the last option, the general manager or the representative of the company should open an electronic government gate (\u00dcgyf\u00e9lkapu).<\/p>\n<p>And here comes the complication. \u00dcgyf\u00e9lkapu may be opened only personally. That may be done in Hungary or at any Hungarian embassy all around the world.<\/p>\n<p>This may be a major barrier for our Clients: additional cost, travel and waste of valuable time.<\/p>\n<h2>Solution<\/h2>\n<p>Since it is a new procedure introduced by the Hungarian government, there are many unknown terms and unfilled gaps around the validation in case of foreign citizens.<\/p>\n<p>We and our legal specialist are working on a legal, cheap and practical solution of the problem, so our Clients may sign the authorization without visiting Hungary and\/or the Hungarian embassy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Major changes from May 2018 Hungarian government is desperately shifting from paper-based administration to electronic one.
