{"id":595,"date":"2018-06-26T18:30:35","date_gmt":"2018-06-26T16:30:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.whisperingtree.hu\/blog\/?p=595"},"modified":"2018-06-26T18:31:17","modified_gmt":"2018-06-26T16:31:17","slug":"new-and-strict-invoicing-regulations-take-effect-from-1st-july-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whisperingtree.hu\/blog\/new-and-strict-invoicing-regulations-take-effect-from-1st-july-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"New and strict invoicing regulations take effect from 1st July 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Important changes in the invoicing legislation from 1<sup>st<\/sup> July 2018<\/h2>\n<p>The limit of VAT to be reported is decreased from 1.000.000.-HUF to 100.000.-HUF.<\/p>\n<p>The data to be reported will be extended dramatically.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All the mandatory data of the invoice must be reported<\/li>\n<li>Data reporting will be separated from VAT return<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Data to be reported by the issuer of the invoice<\/h2>\n<h3>In case of invoicing software<\/h3>\n<p>If the invoice is issued by using computer program, <strong>the software should be able to submit the data to the Tax Office right immediately after the issuance in XML format.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>In case of using pre-printed invoice format<\/h3>\n<p>If pre-printed invoice is used, data submission should be performed through the Tax Office\u2019s online webpage after 5 days of the issuance. If the VAT in the invoice exceeds 500.000.-HUF, the data submission should be done within 1 day.<\/p>\n<h2>Data to be reported by the buyer<\/h2>\n<p>The data reporting liability\u00a0 is the same as before, however, the reporting limit will be lowered to 100.000.-HUF.<\/p>\n<p>To fulfill the data reporting obligation, the tax payers may query the reported invoicing data from the online database.<\/p>\n<h2>How to fulfill the report obligation?<\/h2>\n<h3>In case of software<\/h3>\n<p>Invoicing computer programs should be able to fulfill the requirements and send the necessary data online automatically.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The taxpayer may use the old version of the invoicing software until the first occasion of VAT exceeding 100.000.-HUF. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The tax payer may also decide to submit <strong>all invoicing data independently from the value of VAT. However, this is optional.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>In case of pre-printed invoice<\/h3>\n<p>Data submission may be done through the webpage of the Tax Office.
