{"id":797,"date":"2020-07-02T17:07:00","date_gmt":"2020-07-02T15:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.whisperingtree.hu\/blog\/?p=797"},"modified":"2020-07-02T17:19:56","modified_gmt":"2020-07-02T15:19:56","slug":"how-to-register-to-hungarian-tax-office-online-invoicing-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whisperingtree.hu\/blog\/how-to-register-to-hungarian-tax-office-online-invoicing-system\/","title":{"rendered":"How to register to Hungarian Tax Office (NAV) online invoicing system \u2013 A step by step guide"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The aim of this article is to help you to register to Hungarian Tax Office (NAV) online invoicing system in order to fulfill the legal requirements came into effect from 1<sup>st<\/sup> July 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may also consider checking out our newsletter about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.whisperingtree.hu\/blog\/tax-changes-hungary-2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">major tax changes in Hungary during 2020<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Prerequirments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to register to online invoicing system, you will need the followings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Hungarian Electronic Government Gate (in Hungarian: \u00dcgyf\u00e9lkapu)<\/li><li>Hungarian personal tax number (format: 10 digits)<\/li><li>Your business\u2019s tax number (format: 12345678-1-12)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2>Step 1: Go to NAV\u2019s website<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Open your browser and visit <a href=\"https:\/\/onlineszamla.nav.gov.hu\/home\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/onlineszamla.nav.gov.hu\/home<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Switch to English language if necessary (top right corner).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Step 2: Business registration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Click register button (green button in the top right corner).
